On the 25th<\/sup> of June a meeting with Evgeniya Leonidovna Nikitenko, a Candidate of historical sciences and an Assistant professor of the Faculty of Humanitarian Sciences of the Institute of Classical East and Antiquity of the National Research University \u201cThe High School of Economics\u201d, took place at the Centre of Oriental Literature of the Russian State Library. She delivered a lecture on \u201cIranian Fiction of the XX Century in the USSR\u201d. In her lecture she spoke on translation of Iranian novels in the Soviet Union, its authors\u2019 life path, important artworks of contemporary Iranian literature that still had not been translated into Russian.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was organized and held in the framework of collaboration between the Centre of Oriental Literature of the Russian State Library, Ibn Sina Foundation and the Institute of Civilizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
