On the 30th<\/sup> of June 2024 a lecture \u201cAt the crossroads of two Great Empires: spreading of Islam in Iran through the prism of numismatics\u201d by Konstantin Valerievich Kravtsov was delivered in the framework of collaboration between Ibn Sina Foundation (Moscow) and Mayakovsky Library (Saint Petersburg). In his lecture K.V. Kravtsov spoke on how numismatics that is an evidence of change of religions, traditions and cultures helps to study the process of spreading Islam in Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Konstantin Valerievich Kravtsov is the Head of the State Hermitage Sector of Antique, Asian and African Coins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
