On the 30th<\/sup> of July, 2024, a screen and discussion over the film \u201cThe Dot\u201d took place at Bauman Garden in Moscow with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation and N.A. Nekrasov Library.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before the screen a specialist on Iran Daniil Ognev covered the issue of Iranian calligraphy and its role in culture and art of the Muslim East. He also spoke about the variety of artistic techniques in creating a calligraphic artwork, its scripts and techniques. The auditory got a wonderful possibility to enjoy the beauty of calligraphy, to listen to experts\u2019 interviews disclosing the philosophy of this art. After the film screen Daniil Ognev answered some questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A documentary of Ibn Sina Foundation \u201cThe Dot\u201d was created by a filmmaker Emir Valinejad in 2020. The film participated in different film festivals both in Russia and abroad and won various awards. Thus it was awarded at the XXXII Moscow Film Festival \u201cThe Golden Knight\u201d, at the International Concurs \u201cRAM 2022\u201d in Rovereto, as well as it got a participant\u2019s certificate in the framework of the XXI National \u201cLaurel Branch\u201d Award.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
