On the 31st<\/sup> of July 2024 Arthur Andronikovoch Ambarthumyan delivered a lecture \u201dThe role of the poet Abu Mansour Daqiqi in the development of Persian epical prose\u201d at Mayakovsky Library (Saint Petersburg). The event was organized and held with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecturer spoke on the origins, artworks, views and the influence of Daqiqi. It is possible to call Daqiqi a predessesor of Firdowsi in the creation of his great poem \u201cShakh-nameh\u201d (\u201cThe Book of Tsars). He is also a key Poet who participated in the formation of the Persian poetic language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arthur Andronikovich Ambartsumyan is a university teacher at the Department of Iranian philology of the Oriental faculty of the Saint Petersburgh State University. He as a university teacher at the Department of the Middle Eastern and African Studies of the Saint Petersburgh Branch of the National State University \u201cThe High School of Economics\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
