On the 25th September 2024 the Lecture \u201cHoliness in everyday life: images of righteous people in the mystical poetry of Muhammad-Ali Chukuri\u201d was held at the Centre of Oriental Literature of the Russian State Library. The Lecture was delivered by Islander Rasulevich Saitbattalov who is a Candidate of Historical Sciences, the senior specialist at the Ufa University of Science and Technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muhammad-Ali Chukuri (1826-1889) is a Bashkir poet, Sufi and historiographer. He wrote his research works dedicated to the history of Muslims of the Ural-Volga region and it’s outstanding Muslim personalities of his age, as well as clan genealogy, in Turki. The specific features of his artworks is a sublime style, the perfection of forms and the accuracy of content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture was also dedicated to the role of Chukuri’s heritage in the regional and the Russian Muslim heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture was organized and held in the framework of collaboration between Ibn Sina Foundation and the Centre of Oriental Literature of the Russian State Library.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
