The work entitled \u201cThe Comparison between the Muslim Teaching on Divine Names and its Christian Understanding\u201d by the Russian orientalist, historian and translator G.S. Sablukov was issued with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation. The book was edited by Faris Osmanivich Nofal, the research scholar of the Department of the Philosophy of the Islamic World of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The classical work by G.S. Sablukov is a critical review of the Russian Islamic Literature in the middle of the XIX century. It also contains information about national religious customs of Ural Volga Muslims in the comparison with Christian teachings. The text of \u201cThe Comparison\u2026\u201d has been published for the first time with critical scientific commentaries and the foreword covering the role of this work in the history of Islamic studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The book was prepared and issued by n the framework of collaboration between Ibn Sina Foundation, the Kazan Orthodox Spiritual Seminary and the Ufa University of Science and Technology.
