On the 23 of October Dr. Hossein Ali Jafarian, the chief of the Department of Restoration of the Library of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran delivered a report at the conference \u201cBook Monuments in the Aspect of Preservation\u201d at the Library of Foreign Literature with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation. His report was dedicated to methods of preservation and restoration of periodicals in Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference \u201cBook Monuments in the Aspect of Preservation\u201d took place from the 23 to the 25 of October at M.M. Rudomino Library of Foreign Literature.  The conference is held annually for the 8th<\/sup> time and covers a wide spectrum of professional issues in the area of studying and preserving cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
