On the 29 of October 2024 the master class \u201cThe Restoration of Oriental Book Binding\u201d was arranged with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation and the Library of Foreign Literature. The master class was held by Dr. Hossein Ali Jafarian who is the Head of the Department of Restoration of the Library of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the master class Dr. Hossein Ali Jafarian demonstrated the technology of restoring a book binding and disclosed the difference between the Muslim Oriental binding and the American and European binding. Participants of the master class enjoyed a possibility to participate in the process of restoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
