On the 24 of October Tatiana Georgievna Korneeva who is the head of the educational project LectOrient spoke on behalf of Ibn Sina Foundation at the opening ceremony of the conference \u201cMentoring in Diverse Spiritual Traditions\u201d in Saint Petersburg. She presented three dimensions of Foundation\u2019s activities in the area of mentoring: the educational projects LectOrient, the project of interviews with experts on Oriental and Islamic studies in Russia and the Soviet Union \u201cOral History\u201dand publishing activities of the Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the final day of the conference T.G. Korneeva presented copies of the book \u201cThe Unity of Beauty\u201d (edited by M.J. Nazarli) to young research scholars who participated in the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The School Conference \u201cMentoring in Diverse Spiritual Traditions\u201d took place from the 24 to the 26 of October at the art space of Levashovsky Khlebozavod in Saint Petersburg in the framework of the 8th<\/sup> Festival of Oriental Arts \u201cDaira\u201d. The School Conference was dedicated to cultural continuity in spiritual and religious traditions. The event was held in collaboration with the European University in Saint Petersburg and the State Museum of the History of Religion.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
