Ibn Sina Foundation and \u201cSadra\u201d Publishing House took part in Non\/fictio\u2116 Spring International Book Fair thus presenting their books for the 19th<\/sup> time. The event took place from April 10 to 13, 2025, at Gostiny Dvor in Moscow.<\/p>\n

This year Ibn Sina and \u201cSadra\u201d Publishing House presented maximum of their books at their stand, paying a special attention to the books published in 2024-2025. Works on Iran and Sufism were especially popular among customers, particularly the book guide \u201cTouristic Iran\u201d, \u201cThe World of Islamic Mysticism\u201d by A. Schimmel, \u201cOne Hundred Gazelles by Hafiz\u201d, \u201cThe Light Man in Iranian Sufism\u201d by Henry Corbin.<\/p>\n

Two books published by the Foundation and \u201cSadra\u201d were included into the top list of Non\/fictio\u2116VESNA International Book Fair: \u201cTen Years in the East: the Essays of a Russian Woman on Afghanistan\u201d by Yu. Mitenkova and \u201cThe Comparison between the Muslim Teaching on Divine Names and its Christian Understanding\u201d by G.S. Sablukov edited by F.O. Nofal.<\/p>\n

On April 11 two presentations were held at the stand of \u201cSadra\u201d and Ibn Sina Foundation.<\/p>\n

  1. The research scholar of the Department of the Islamic World Philosophy of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences Faris Osmanovich Nofal presented the book \u201cThe Comparison between the Muslim Teaching on Divine Names and its Christian Understanding\u201d by G.S. Sablukov. The head of the Expert Council for the Interaction with the Islamic World of the Department of External Church Relations of the Russian Orthodox Church Hieromonk Grigory (Matrusov) became a special guest of the event.<\/li>\n
  2. The senior lecturer of the Department of Iranian Philology of the Institute of Asian and African Countries of Lomonosov Moscow State University Anna Viktorovna Gromova presented a review of Foundation and \u201cSadra\u201d Persian language textbooks and the newly published third volume of the Comprehensive Persian Russian Dictionary issued by \u201cRussky Mir\u201d Foundation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The stand was visited by many respected guests who were interested in the Islamic culture, among them the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation Kazem Jalali, the head of the Cultural Centre of the Iranian Embassy Masoud Ahmadvand, the author of the book \u201cIslamic Banking\u201d Andrey Yurievich Zhuravlev, the author and translator of several books on Islamic philosophy Rouzana Vladimirovna Pskhou, the author and translator of books on Islamic philosophy Andrey Vsevolodovich Paribok.<\/p>\n
