On April 21, 2025, the catalogue of the exhibition “Islam in the photo collection of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society” published with assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation was presented at Sheikh Ibrahim bin Muhammad al-Khalifa Cultural Centre<\/a> (Manama, Bahrain).<\/p>\n

Previously, in 2024, the photo collection had been exhibited only in Russia, in Saint Petersburg and Kazan.<\/p>\n

The exhibition in Bahrain was dedicated to the Russian discovery of the Holy Land that attracted not only Russian Christians but also Russian Muslims in the beginning of the XX century. The Muslim Hajj with 20 million Russian participants and the Christian Pilgrimage to the Jerusalem was being arranged in the same conditions.<\/p>\n

This vision of Palestine was reflected in the photo collection of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society and in richly illustrated catalogues of E.A. Rezvan and A.Yu. Kudryavtseva exhibitions in Russian<\/a> and in English<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The exhibition was held with the assistance of the Russian Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain and with the participation of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society and the scientific and analytical portal “Eastern Tribune”.<\/em><\/p>\n
