On April 24, 2025, Ibn Sina Foundation together with the International Russian Iranian Centre of the Russian State Humanitarian University and \u00abSadra\u00bb Publishing House held the event under the title of \u00abThe Great Patriotic War Victory in Iranian History and Culture\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation V.I. Zabotkin, the Acting Vice-Dean of the Faculty of the Oriental and African Studies N.A. Filin and the Director of the International Russian Iranian Centre P.V. Basharin pronounced their greetings.<\/p>\n

The Vice President of Ibn Sina Foundation and the General Director of \u00abSadra\u00bb Publishing House S N. Tabaei, the Scientific Director of the Foundation A.A. Lukashev and the head of LectOrient Educational Platform T.G. Korneeva spoke on Iran’s contribution to the World War II Victory, as well as on difficulties of Persian texts translation and on the cooperation between Ibn Sina Foundation and the Russian State Humanitarian University.<\/p>\n

A.B. Gromov, who is the author of several popular science books published by the Foundation and \u00abSadra\u00bb and dedicated to Iranian history, also spoke at the event. He delivered a speech on lend-lease with Iranian specifics.<\/p>\n

The leading expert of the Interdisciplinary Research Institute of the High School of Economics I.V.\u00a0 Abramenko presented her own translation of the poem \u00abHeroes of Stalingrad\u00bb by Seyed Mohammad Hossein Tabrizi.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event the guests answered students’ questions and presented their gifts to the auditory.<\/p>\n
