The new edition presents the material in a better way, many chapters have been replaced, revised and expanded. Each text is followed by a short dictionary, comments and exercises. The book was prepared on the basis of Iranian textbooks for primary and elementary school, Farsi textbooks for foreigners published in Iran, other textbooks on Farsi and related languages. The main feature of this textbook is the focus on modern Persian orthography, modern \u201ctahriri\u201d writing style and international transcription based on the Latin alphabet. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The textbook is meant for the first-year university students studying philology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Imprint<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">V.
