This collection of parables and stories expresses the immutable truths of human existence. These parables were adapted for young readers by our Iranian colleagues, and then translated from the Persian language and edited by the best Russian Iranian linguists, such as N. Chalisova, L. Lahuti, N. Prigarina, S. Tarasova.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The &#8220;Persian Tales&#8221; series was launched in 2021 with the support of the Ibn Sina Foundation in cooperation with the Hayyam Cultural Centre. So far, it includes five books: &#8220;What do you call the grape?&#8221; (Based on &#8220;Masnavi&#8221; by Jalal ad-Din Rumi, retold by H. Fattahi),\u00a0&#8220;Halwa and Rainbow&#8221; (Based on &#8220;Gulistan&#8221; by Saadi, retold by Farhad Hasan-zade),\u00a0<\/span><span>&#8220;<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">A visit to the Padishah<\/span><span>&#8220;<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0(Based on Saadi\u2019s &#8220;Bostan&#8221;, retold by Sepideh Khalili),\u00a0<\/span><span>&#8220;<\/span><span>The Wish Jug<\/span><span>&#8220;<\/span><span>\u00a0(Stories from &#8220;Khalila and Dimna&#8221; retold by Mojgan Sheikhi) and\u00a0<\/span><span>&#8220;Tales of Scheherazade&#8221;\u00a0(O<\/span><span>n the basis on the collection &#8220;The Thousand and One Nights&#8221;\u00a0retold by Zohreh Haydari<\/span><span>)<\/span><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Persian Tales&#8221; is a series of books filled with the centuries-old Oriental wisdom.
