It is dedicated to the history of Iran in the 20th century.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The 20th century was one of the most dynamic and unpredictable eras in the history of Iran. The fall of the previous dynasty after one century and a half rule, and the rule of the new dynasty, its\u2019 reforms, two world wars and two Iranian revolutions, excavations of Persepolis, struggle for Iranian oil, the 2500th anniversary of Persian Empire, the Iranian-Iraqi war, reconstruction of Iran and the new life \u2013 all these events are covered by the book. Exactly in the 20th century Iran has taken an important place in the world culture, and many episodes of Persian history are included into Iranian literature and cinema.<span>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The book begins from the preface by Kazem Jalali, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and is provided by archival colorful photos in the end. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The work \u201cPersia \u2013 Iran: the 20th Century\u201d has been prepared by OOO \u201cSadra\u201d and published with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation and the Joint-Stock Company \u201cMir Business Bank\u201d. The illustration on the 4th side of book cover is drawn by an outstanding Iranian painter Reza Badr al-Sama. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><em><span lang=\"EN-US\">Alex Bertrand Gromov is a well-known novelist and historian. He is an author of several books dedicated to the history of Soviet Union, its\u2019 statesmen and military commanders. A. B. Gromov is the author of bestsellers like \u201cPersia. The History of Unopened Country\u201d (co-authored with S.N. Tabaei) and \u201cIran. From Cyrus the Great to Imam Khomeini\u201d. The books by A.B.
