The book reveals the history and main features of classical music of the Muslim East, using the examples of North African countries, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00abHistory and Anthropology of Music of the Muslim World: Traditions of Regions\u00bb was compiled and prepared by T. Jani-zade(PhD in Arts, associate professor at the Department of Music History of the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music) with the support of Ibn Sina Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The book represents the 4th volume of the \u00abUnity of Beauty\u00bb series and also the 2nd issue of the \u00abIslam and Music\u00bb sub-series .
