Nofal (researcher at the Department of Philosophy of Islamic World at the RAS Institute of Philosophy) \u2014 has been published by the Sadra publishing house. It represents a critical reflection on the contemporary state of knowledge about religion. It offers nine theses and two case studies that are meant to encourage a scholarly and theological debate. It also provides answers to the following methodological questions: should the religious experience of a person or tradition be protected from the overreach of researchers? What should descriptive religious studies look like?
