Korneyeva is out of print"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"52\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The 13th volume of the series &#8220;Philosophical Thought of the Islamic World: Research&#8221; has been published with the assistance of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Ibn Sina Foundation. It is a monograph by Tatiana Korneyeva dedicated to the life and work of Nasir Khusraw, an outstanding Ismaili philosopher of the Fatimid period.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The work presents the philosopher&#8217;s views, analyses the interconnection of different aspects of his teachings, reveals fundamental categorical oppositions which manifest themselves at different levels of his philosophical &#8220;tree&#8221;, and demonstrates the role of the &#8220;tawil&#8221; method. The author pays particular attention to the philosophical terminology of Nasir Khusraw, who wrote his works in Persian. The appendix contains a translation of one of Nasir Khusraw&#8217;s main treatises, &#8220;Knowledge and Liberation&#8221; (Gushayish va Rahayish).
