The conferences were held as part of annual Sagadeev\u2019s Readings dedicated to the memory of the Russian scientist A. V. Sagadeev (1931-1997). The book includes articles on the history, philosophy, and culture of the Islamic world, as well as translations of several Arabic texts illustrating the intellectual life of the Muslim Middle Ages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The collection was prepared by N.S. Kirabaev (doctor of philosophy) and R.V.
