It is now a part of the interesting historical series of the Ibn Sina Foundation, \u201cIslamic and pre-Islamic world: history and politics\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The work\u00a0contains a theoretical description of the political order of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The author presents a concise characteristics of the foundational principles of the new model of an Islamic state based on the \u201cvelayat-e fakih\u201d principle. A. Sadeghi Neshat analyses the main components of Iran\u2019s constitutional system and demonstrates that it represents a rule-of-law state with the separation of powers and all major institutions of representative and competitive democracy.
