Born in 1974 in Tehran, she did her PhD degree in the Persian language and literature. Winner of several literary awards (\u201cThe book of the Year of the Islamic Republic of Iran\u201d, \u201cThe Parvin Etesami literary award\u201d). She has written more than 15 collections of stories and poems; many of them have been translated into English, French, Turkish, Italian, German, Swedish, Dutch, Arabic and Japanese.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Without exaggeration, the books of I. Nazarahari can be called an encyclopaedia of practical mysticism (\u2018irfan). They are full of numerous allusions for Qur\u2019anic stories, masterpieces of classical Persian literature, achievements of the Sufi thought and hagiographical collections. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The book \u201cLight and bread\u201d consists of five parts: \u201cThe Prophet passed by our house\u201d, \u201cThere is a whale beating in your chest\u201d, \u201cAll the daughters of the earth are called Leyli\u201d, \u201cTwo days left until the end of the world\u201d, \u201cI am the eighth one out of those seven\u201d.
