The work was written by a well-known representative of the Safaviyya Sufi order, Sayyid Salman Safavi. The book contains the definitions of such notions as mysticism (\u2018irfan, tasavvuf), mystic (salik), mystic path (suluk), mystic journey (asfar) and demonstrates specific features of practical (\u2018amali) aspects of the Islamic mysticism.
