A special screening of the film \u201cDot\u201d by Emir Walinejad created with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation took place on the 2ndof October in the Moscow Cinema School. A live discussion with the film director was arranged after the screening.<\/span><\/p>\n

The spectators expressed a genuine interest towards this Iranian director\u2019s films and asked him many questions not only about Iranian calligraphy but also about Iran, life in this country and Iranian culture. Emir Walinejad promised to visit the Moscow Cinema School once again in order to screen his other documentaries there. <\/span><\/p>\n

Emir Walinejad is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, photographer and film producer. He graduated from the Saint Petersburgh State University of Cinema and Television; now he studies his Ph.D. at the Russian State Institute of Cinematography. Emir Walinejad is a laureate of international competitions of documentary films.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n
