The main emphasis will be placed on \u201cThe unity of beauty\u201d series, which currently includes three works: a collection of Iranian scholars\u2019 articles about the connection between Islam and visual arts (edited by M. J. Nazarli, 2019), a collection of articles devoted to the understanding of music in the context of Islamic culture with a reference to the Iranian traditions (edited by T.M. Jani-zade, \u201cMusic in the context of Islam: Iranian traditions\u201d, 2019) and a book of the Iranian calligrapher Hamid-Reza Kelichkhani, \u201cIranian calligraphy: introduction to the tradition\u201d (2019). A screening of Emir Valinejad\u2019s documentary, \u201cTochka\u201d, which was filmed at the request of the Ibn Sina Foundation, will also be arranged at the Islamic Culture Museum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The opening ceremony for the \u201cTehran \u2014 Ufa \u2014 Kazan bridge\u201d exhibition will take place on 20 December 2019 at 16:00 at the Islamic Culture Museum of the Kazan Kremlin. It will feature the results of collaboration between the calligrapher Naser Tawoosi (Tehran, Iran) and the scenic designer Lira Suleyman (Ufa, Russia).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Naser Tawoosi made 20 calligraphy works specially for this project. His sketches demonstrate the qalam\u2019s lightness in his hand and the clarity of the calligraphic manifestation of the Qur\u2019anic verses. The sketches represent the Almighty\u2019s names and verses from the Qur\u2019anic surahs, such as \u201cAl-Kahf\u201d, \u201cAz-Zumar\u201d, \u201cAl-Fatiha\u201d.<span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Based on the sketches of the Iranian calligrapher, Lira Suleyman made paintings using mixed techniques and adding volume and dynamics to Nasir Tawoosi\u2019s sketches. A unique colour composition and material were used for each of the works.
