This year the Ibn Sina Foundation, represented by its vice-president and general director of the Sadra publishing house Seyyed Nasser Tabai, presented its new books at the 32nd Tehran International Book Fair.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the first day the booth of the Foundation and the Sadra publishing house was visited by the special guests of the event. The exhibition sparked the interest of Reza Maleki, the former head of the Cultural representative office of Iran in Moscow; Allame Tabatabai, university professor; Ms. Asemat Mumini, editor-in-chief of the \u201cGnoseological research\u201d magazine; Dr. Mortaza Rezvanfar, member of the academic board of the Cultural Legacy Institute; Akram Puraki, head of the International Relations Department of the Art Academy and chairman of the \u201cSaba\u201d Culture and Art Society.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the second day many readers, students and Russian language teachers came to the Ibn Sina Foundation\u2019s booth. The highlight of this day was the presentation of Irfan Nazarahari\u2019s book entitled \u201cLight and bread\u201d. The presentation was conducted by Seyyed Nasser Tabai, general director of the Sadra publishing house. He spoke about how the book was prepared and published. Nasser Tabai noted that the translator, Yulia Fedorova (Russian academician, expert in Islamic mysticism), explained the main aspects of Islamic mysticism in the introduction, so that the book could be understood by lay public too.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Tehran International Book Fair is one of the major events in the book industry not only in Iran, but also in Asia and in the Middle East. This exhibition, which has proven to be successful over the years, is one of the most well-known exhibitions in the world and is attended by 5 million readers annually.<\/span><\/p>\n
