On 30 November at 2 pm the 18th International Book Fair \u2028for High-Quality Fiction and Non-Fiction \u201cnon\/fictio\u2116\u201d will open its doors. Many book lovers are looking forward to this leading book event. At the \u201cnon\/fictio\u2116\u201d fair you will be able to buy new editions of different publishing houses, to participate in literary discussions and to meet and talk to famous writers and other interesting people. <\/span><\/p>\n

Traditionally, book publishers and book sellers from different countries will gather at the fair. The representatives of the United Kingdom will be guests of honour at the event. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Islamic Culture Research Foundation will participate in the \u201cnon\/fictio\u2116\u201d Fair for the 8th time. You will have a unique opportunity to see the majority of publications, as well as book novelties of 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the booth of the Islamic Culture Research Foundation you will see the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014 Philosophical (\u201cThe Event and Things\u201d by A.V. Smirnov, 7th edition of the the \u201cIshraq\u201d Islamic philosophy yearbook), historical and religious (\u201cPersonality of the Prophet of Islam\u201d in a new cover and \u201cPersonality of Ali ibn Abi Talib\u201d by H. Saidi, \u201cWisdom of Worshipping to God\u201d by A.D. Amoli) and historical (\u201cMuslims in the Soviet Petrograd\u2013Leningrad (1917\u20131991)\u201d by R.I. Bekkin) books;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014 Academic and non-fiction books: \u201cMuslims in the New Imperial History\u201d (compiled by V.O. Bobrovnikov), \u201cImam Ghazali\u2019s Works\u201d by A.A. Hismatulin, \u201cThe Treatise on Calligraphers and Artists\u201d by Qazi Ahmad Qumi, \u201cPersia: the history of undiscovered land\u201d by A. Gromov and S.N Tabai.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014 social and philosophical books: <\/span><\/p>\n

1) four books from the new series \u201cCurrent philosophical discourse\u201d: \u201cIslamophobia\u201d, \u201cIslamic civilization. Past and Present\u201d, \u201cModern Iranian Culture\u201d and \u201cIdeological processes in Iran\u201d edited by M.M.T. Al-Janabi; <\/span><\/p>\n

2) three books from the new series \u201cReligion in the modern world\u201d: \u201cFeminology issues\u201d by H.R. Ayatollahi, collection of articles \u201cTopical questions of family education\u201d edited by R.R. Izmaylov and \u201cIslam and Modernism\u201d edited by E.A. Frolova; <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014 Iranian non-fiction books: non-fiction prose \u201cI am alive\u201d by M. Abad, and \u201cThe last Salar\u201d by M.K. Mazinani;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014 books on Qur\u2019anic studies (\u201cThe language of the Qur\u2019an by A. Hoshmanesh\u201d, \u201cLessons of the Qur\u2019an\u201d by G. Haddad-Adel);<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014 a new translation of the Qur\u2019an based on the exegesis called \u201cThe light of the Holy Qur\u2019an\u201d and prepared for publishing together with the AST publishing house, and more\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

On 3 December, Saturday, at 3\u00a0pm, there will be a presentation of book novelties of the year 2016. You will find out what the Islamic Culture Research Foundation is planning for 2017. Famous Russian and Iranian scholars and writers will participate in the presentation. A special guest \u2014 Syed Mehdi Shojaee, the author of the novels “Another storm is coming” and “Democracy and Demo Crazy”, and a recently published parable for children \u201cFriend is friend, enemy is enemy\u201d, \u2014 will also attend the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will be happy to welcome you at the \u201cnon\/fictio\u211618\u201d Fair, which will take place at Krymskiy val st., 10 (Central House of Artists), Moscow.\u00a0 The Islamic Culture Research Foundation will occupy the booth F-10. <\/span><\/p>\n
