“Sadra” Publishing House issued two textbooks on the Persian language with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation. Its presentation was held on September 18 2026 at the Institute of Asian and African Countries of the Moscow State University. The event was timed to the Persian Language Day, the holiday dedicated to the birthday anniversary of Shahriyar, an outstanding Iranian poet of the XX century. In 2022 the poetical translation of his poem “Heroes of Stalingrad” was published by “Sadra”.
The second volume of the monograph “An Outline of the Theory of the Persian Language” and the reading book “Once Upon a Time in Iran” were also introduced at the presentation.
The monograph was presented by the Professor V.B. Ivanov, the Head of the Department of Iranian Philology of the Institute of Asian and African Countries of the Moscow State University. One of the authors of the reading book “Once Upon a Time in Iran” T.G. Khanina also told about that edition.
For many years Ibn Sina Foundation supports publishing scientific and educational literature dedicated to Oriental studies and prepared by specialists from the Institute of Asian and African Countries of the Moscow State University. Earlier the two volume “Persian Literature of the IX-IVIII Centuries” by M.L. Reisner and A.N. Ardashnikova, “Libya: Where Does the Country of 140 Tribes Go?”, “Egypt from Nasser Up Till Now” by M.F. Vidyasova and “Algeria At the Three Roads” (M.F Vidyasova in co-authorship with V.V. Orlov).
