Many of them were born in 1970-s, and their artworks reflect spiritual and intellectual searches of a generation grown up on the basis of both traditions and cultural changes. Their voices can become a source of discovering the modern Iran for readers who are already acquainted with classical Iranian prose.
The book is not organized chronologically, it is divided into several thematic blocks: personal life dramas, social controversies, war prose, metaphysical plots. This approach helps to comprehend the variety of views and literary styles in the contemporary Iranian culture.
