Abstract
The first of the two volumes containing selected works of Ibn Arabi (1165—1240), the greatest medieval Arab Muslim thinker, includes his composition “Description of the Circles” and excerpts from his most famous works — “The Meccan Revelations” and “The Bezels of Wisdom”. These texts present the fundamental principles of his philosophy that influenced the intellectual thought of the Classical Islam era. The work is complemented with an index of names and subjects and a glossary for Arabic terms.
