Ibn Sina Foundation and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Tehran provided the presence of a delegation from the Kazan Orthodox Spiritual Seminary at the series of special occasions dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory Day. The events were organized and held by the representatives of the Russian diplomatic mission in Tehran and included the ceremony of laying flowers at the memorial to Soviet soldiers at the Russian cemetery in Tehran, in the Russian Embassy Residence in Zargand and the ceremonial embassy reception.
The scientific director of Ibn Sina Foundation Andrey Lukashev participated in those ceremonies on behalf of Ibn Sina Foundation. The delegation from the Kazan Orthodox Spiritual Seminary was represented by: its rector Nikita Kuznetsov, an assistant professor of the Department of Islamic Studies of the Seminary hieromonk Roman (Modin), the head of the Department of Islamic Studies Vladimir Rogatin and the seminary teacher from the Department of Islamic Studies Elena Rogatina.
Their visit was organized in the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation with the Kazan Orthodox Spiritual Seminary signed on November 20, 2024.
