Ibn Sina Foundation and “Sadra” Publishing House took part in “Philosophical Book Day” Book Fair that was held on June 3 at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the framework of the Open Day.
The Foundation and “Sadra” presented their newly published scientific books to employees of the Institute and to young research scholars. The representatives of the Foundation shared information about the new books series, cooperation with the Institute of Philosophy and LectOrient educational platform.
Andrey Vadimovich Smirnov, an old friend and partner of the Foundation, an academic scholar of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the head and the senior research scholar of the Department of Islamic World Philosophy of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, became a special guest of our stand. Without his help and participation such projects as “The Islamic World Philosophical Thought” book series and “Ishraq” Islamic Philosophy Annual would not come into existence.
The 5th “Philosophical Book Day»” Book Fair was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
