“Sadra” Publishing House issued a new fiction book, the collection of stories by contemporary Iranian authors under the title of “Soul Without Limits”. It was prepared for publication in Russian by the fiction writer, critic, essayist and translator Alexander Pavlovich Andryushkin.
The collection includes stories by twenty prominent Iranian writers of our time: H.M. Abkenar, A. Abdullah, N. Amiri, K. Asadi, A. Bahrami and others. Many of them were born in 1970-s, and their artworks reflect spiritual and intellectual searches of a generation grown up on the basis of both traditions and cultural changes.
The book is not organized chronologically, it is divided into several thematic blocks: personal life dramas, social controversies, war prose, metaphysical plots. This approach helps to comprehend the variety of views and literary styles in the contemporary Iranian culture.
The storybook “Soul Without Limits” was issued by Ibn Sina Foundation based on the Ibn Sina Publishing Grant Competition-2025. The book became a part of the unique series of translated prose “Iranian Bestseller”.
