A Monograph on Trade and Economic Partnership Between Russia and Iran Under Sanctions Published

The collective monograph “Trade and Economic Partnership Between Russia and Iran Under Sanctions: Possibilities, Challenges and Perspectives” was issued recently. The book was published with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation on the basis of the results of Ibn Sina Publishing Grant Competition, and it was recommended for publication by the scientific commission of the Faculty of Economics of the Saint Petersburg State University.

The monograph was prepared by a collective of authors from the Saint Petersburg State University, the Russian University of Transport and the Association for Eurasian Cooperation. It was edited by a Doctor of Economical Studies, a Professor  from the Department of Economics of the Saint Petersburg State University S.F. Sutyrin and an Assistant  Professor and the Head of the Department of World Economics O.Yu. Trofimenko.

The book is dedicated to complex research of trade and economic relations between Russia and Iran in the context of current geopolitical transformations and pressure of sanctions. The work combines historical analysis with estimation of nowadays economic and political challenges proposing a scenario of an effective interaction between Russia and Iran. The research demonstrates how economic cooperation helps our countries not only to adapt to foreign pressure but also to find a way to stable progress. It is addressed to research scholars in the area of international relations, economists and everybody who is interested in foreign economic strategy in the era of global instability.
