“Sadra” Publishing House together with Ibn Sina Foundation issued a unique book on reading in Persian “Once Upon a Time in Iran”. The textbook is directly addressed to intermediate level students and includes 15 lessons each of which is dedicated to memorizing the key vocabulary and grammar in the most important areas of communication (acquaintance, work and study, purchases, etc.). The lessons include dialogues and texts, self-checking questions and dictionary.
The book is especially precious thanks to its culturological aspects: it doesn’t only teach the language, it introduces Iranian customs, mentality and everyday life.
The book is prepared by the employees of Ibn Sina Foundation and “Sadra” Publishing House Majid Bolhasani and Tatyana Khanina under the edition of the Candidate of Philological Sciences, an experienced Persian and Russian language teacher Fatemeh Mohammadi.
