Ibn Sina Foundation together with “Sadra” Publishing House took part in the Non/fiction№26 International Intellectual Literature Book Fair. It presented its books at the Fair for the 18th time. The event took place from the 5 to the 8 of December 2024 at Gostiny Dvor in Moscow.
This year the following books attracted the interest of visitors : “The Touristic Iran”; the fiction book “Ten Years in the East: the Essays of a Russian Woman on Afghanistan” by Yu. Mitenkova; the books “Iran: from Cyrus the Great to Ayatollah Khomeini” and “Persia – Iran: the XX Century” by Alex Bertrand Gromov; “Thе Formation of Islamic Art” by O. Grabar and “The Persian Language Textbook” by V.B. Ivanov.
On the 6 of December a series of presentations took place at Foundation’ B-17 Stand. Thus, Alex Bertrand Gromov spoke on his newly published book “Persia – Iran: the XX Century”. Anna Victorovna Gromova made a review of Persian language textbooks published by the Foundation. Alexey Alexandrovich Khismatullin presented the new volume of the series “Edifying Literature of the Saljuk Era in Persian: Originals and Forgeries”. Yulia Mitenkova presented her book “Ten Years in the East: the Essays of a Russian Woman on Afghanistan”.
The tourist guide “The Touristic Iran” and the work “Fundamentals of Muslim Manuscriptology (Correspondence Centers, Codicological Elements, Principles of Cataloging and Methods for Determining the Authenticity of a Manuscript” by Habibolla ‘Azimi published with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation were included into the top list of non/fictio№26.
