On October 1, 2025 Ibn Sina Foundation took part in the international conference “The Concept of Action Unity in Muslim Philosophy”. The event was held at the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. Participants pronounced their speeches in Russian and Persian.
The conference was opened with welcome speeches of the following respected guests: the Adviser to the Rector for Science, the Head of the History of Philosophy Department N.S. Kiribaev; the President of Ibn Sina Foundation H. Hadavimoghaddam; the Director of the Scientific Publishing Center for Humanitarian and Islamic Studies Initiatives H. Shahriyari. The speakers pointed to the importance of holding such events for the Russian Iranian cooperation development and underlined that they can play a significant role in discussing scientific issues.
Six reports were delivered offline and online: N.S. Kiribaev and R.V. Pskhou (the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia); F.O. Nofal and A.A. Lukashev (the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences); M. Saberi Najafabadi and H.R. Khademi (SAMT Organization). The reports were dedicated to the theory of action in the context of the Divine unity in the artworks of Rumi, Ghazali, Attar, Tabatabaei, al-Muhasibi, as well as in the Samaritan thought. The main isuues that were discussed at the conference were as follows: the relationship between rationality, belief and action; monotheism, the God as the main source of action; and other philosophical problems .
