On December 4, 2025, The Scientific Director of Ibn Sina Foundation A.A. Lukashev presented Foundation activities at the Russian State Humanitarian University in the framework of the Second International Russian Iranian Conference.
A.A. Lukashev presented the report “Ibn Sina Foundation Activities in the Context of Iranian Russian Cultural Dialogue”. He told about the development of multidimensional cooperation of Ibn Sina Foundation with various Russian and Iranian partners for the sake of cultural dialogue between two countries. A.A. Lukashev also spoke on the issue of annual magazine “Ishraq”, translation of scientific literature and fiction from Persian into Russian, internships, holding joint conferences and exhibitions, lectures and master classes with the participation of Iranian experts.
The Second International Russian Iranian Scientific Conference took place on 3 and 4 December 2025 at the Russian State Humanitarian University (Moscow). The Assistant to the President of Russia Andrey Fursenko, the Vice Head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia Denis Sekirinsky, the Rector of the Russian State Humanitarian University Andrey Loginov, as well as the members of the Iranian delegation including the Minister of Science Mehdi Pendar, the Head of the Center for International Cooperation Omid Rezaifar and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipatentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia Kazem Jalali, spoke at the opening ceremony.
The representatives of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Saint Petersburg State University, the Southern Federal University, the Urals Federal University, K.L. Khegaturov Northern Osetia State University, Shahid Beheshti University, the Tehran University and other leading Russian and Iranian universities and scientific research centres took part in the conference dedicated to mutual relations, strategies in the light of global changes and cooperation in the area of culture, linguistics, art and humanitarian dialogue.
