A vivid discussion followed the screen.
The film “The Postman Never Knocks Thrice” is a hypnotic mix of fantastics, thriller and historical drama where destinies of heroes from different epochs come together. Although the film was created 16 years ago all its items (time, memory, social inequality) remained extremely topical.
Spectators pointed to the fascinating plot mixed with elements of mysticism, impressive actors’ play and a visionary direction of Hasan Fatkhi’s artwork.
The organizers thanked everybody who attended the event for a warm atmosphere. They also invite spectators to the next meetings of the Cinema Club.
The event was held with the assistance of the Oriental Cultural Centre of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Ibn Sina Foundation.
