Two Films Created With the Assistance of the Foundation Screened at the Conference in Saint Petersburg

The film “Dot” and the interview with the Custodian of the collection of Persian manuscripts, the Senior Research Scholar of the Department of Orient of the State Hermitage A.T. Adamova, were screened at the conference “Monuments and People During the Great Patriotic War: Crossroad of Destinies”. The films were created with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation. Its screens with further discussions took place on November 6, 2025, at the end of the section “Preserving Cultures: Research Institutes and Cultural and Educational Organizations During the Great Patriotic War”.

The conference “Monuments and People During the Great Patriotic War: Crossroad of Destinies” was held from 5 to 7 November in Saint Petersburg. It was dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). It was organized by the Saint Petersburg State University, the State Historical, Architectural and Ethnographic Reserve Museum “Kizhi” and V.S. Rakhmanov All-Russian Center for Preservation of Wooden Villainy. The Committee for Preservation of Cultural Heritage of the Leningrad Region became a co-organizer of the event. The program included reports, seminars and discussing documentaries, as well as the exhibition “Tradition Wooden Roof”, excursions and the Autumn Youth Historical School-2025.
