On Friday, 29 May, an anniversary evening dedicated to the birthday of a famous artist, Orientalist and the member of the Union of Writers and the Union of Photo Artists Boris Rezvantsev was held at the Moscow House of Nationalities.
His own speech became a cornerstone of the event. Boris Rezvantsev presented an author exhibition of unique carpets illustrating verses of Persian poetry classics, as well as shared his memories about his artistic path.
Important cultural and artistic figures congratulated Boris Rezvantsev, among them the Head of the Ethnocultural Development Commision of the Moscow Governmental Nations’ Affairs Council Khursheda Khamrakulova; the Reknown Artist of Russia and Azerbaijan Asker Mamedov; an Assistance Professor of the Military University of the Ministry of Defense of Russia Khurshed Saidumarov; a poet, novelist and translator, a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR Anvar Tavobov. Ibn Sina Foundation was represented by Majid Bolhasani. He passed the warmest greetings to Mr. Rezvantsev on behalf of the President of Ibn Sina Foundation Hamid Hadavimoghaddam.
The event was provided by a vast cultural program: poetry of Saadi , Rudaki, Nizami, Khafiz and Khayyam was recited for guests, and the State Dance Ensemble preformed two national Tajik dances.
