As usually, “Sadra” Publishing House with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation will take part in the “Red Square” Book Festival. The 12th Festival will be held from 4 to 7 June 2026 on the main square of Moscow.
The stand of “Sadra” Publishing House will be situated at the Non Fiction Zone. Not only newly published books (2025-2026) but also earlier works will be presented at the stand.
The schedule of the Festival is as follows:
4 June (Thursday): 10.00 – 22.00
5 June (Friday): 10:00 – 23:00
6 June (Saturday): 10:00 – 23:00
7 June (Sunday): 10:00 – 22:30
The “Red Square” Book Festival is an annual major Russian literary event dedicated to A.S. Pushkin’s birthday and the Russian Language Day. Festival tents and platforms will cover all the space from the Historical Museum to Vasily Blazhennyi Church. More than 400 books, issued by publishing houses all over Russia, will be also presented at the Main Universal Store and the Red Square.
The Festival Program includes meetings with writers and poets, artists and illustrators; performances by actors and musicians; acquaintance with leading museums, scientific lectures, autograph sessions, concerts and master classes.
This year the Festival will pay a special attention to events dedicated to Russian Peoples Unity Year. The National Cultures Festival will be held again in the framework of the “Read Square” Festival.
Special programs will be dedicated to writers whose birthday anniversaries will be celebrated in 2026: the 200th anniversary of Mikhail Saltykov-Shedrin, the 125th anniversary of Agniya Barto, the 80th anniversary of Mikhail Yasnov.
